5 Countries Where You Can Easily Get a Student Visa
One thing to consider when considering where to study is the student visas offered and the application process. It can be frustrating when you successfully get into your dream university, but then jump through complicated visa hurdles or worry about getting rejected.

After doing some research, we found five countries with relatively simple student visa application processes (no need to provide additional information) to welcome more international students. This does not mean that a visa is guaranteed. You must pass all the checks required by the country’s immigration laws and submit the correct documentation.

Australia.


The only country in the world that covers an entire continent. Australia has a lot to offer, from a world-renowned higher education system to (probably) the best version of MasterChef. A multicultural center that welcomes international students with open arms and simple visa procedures.

If you want to study Down Under, you need a student visa (subclass 500). A Certificate of Enrollment (CoE) from the university and proof of adequate financial resources and Student Health Cover (OHSC) are required. The Australian student visa fee is AU$630 (US$475) and takes 4 weeks to process.

Student visas are valid for up to five years, depending on the course. You can even work unlimited hours during the semester (but make sure you finish your studies!).

New Zealand


An island nation not far from Australia, New Zealand is also known for its world-class universities. As an added bonus, you can enjoy the scenic beauty and tranquility of the archipelago.

For a New Zealand student visa, you must provide evidence of: Sufficient capital; character certificate to fill out the visa application form; However, no language certification is required for the application. The official Study in New Zealand website has a checklist of all the documents required for the process.

Canada.

An international student in Canada must apply for her two types of permits:

Study Permit to study at University. However, this is not a visa and does not entitle you to enter the country.
Tourist visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) authorizing entry. The Canadian Embassy or Consulate automatically issues an eTA when you apply for a Study Permit. You can also check the Immigration Canada website to see if you need to submit another application.
You must provide evidence of the following:

admission to a Canadian university: identity; financial support with application. The Canadian government has a list of required documents. There is a $150 CAD ($109 USD) fee for student permits. Students from selected countries can apply through the Student Direct Stream. Opting out of applying outside of Canada reduces the processing time from her normal 13 weeks to her 20 calendar days.

A Canadian Student Permit is valid for the duration of your studies and 90 days. You can work 20 hours a week, unlimited hours on and off campus (unlimited during holidays).

United Kingdom


The United Kingdom has historically been a strict visa country, but in recent years it has opened its doors to international students. The student visa process is very easy and allows international students to study at the world’s best universities and enjoy the great British culture.

A UK student visa valid for the duration of the course is required. The application requires Confirmation of Authorization (CAS). According to the new points system, you will also have to prove that you have sufficient financial resources and knowledge of the English language. A UK student visa allows you to work 20 hours a week during the semester, with no restrictions during holidays. After completing the course, you can apply for a new graduate visa, a graduate work visa valid for two years.

United States

  As home to Ivy League universities, it’s no surprise that the United States is one of the most desirable study destinations for him. Due to the large number of international students applying and studying at US universities, the visa process is very straightforward.

To study in the United States, you must apply for a student visa (Type F). This visa is valid for up to 5 years.

To apply for a Type F student visa, you must be accepted by an SEVP accredited institution and registered with SEVIS. Form I20 and completed Form DS160 should be prepared with all required documents prior to the visa interview. It may look complicated, but accepting an offer at your university will help you enroll in SEVIS. Just sort out some forms from there.
